Secondly, he is always protected by auspicious deities, and is free from all calamities such as plague, water, fire, thieves, swords, and prisons. Thirdly, those with long-standing grudges are benefited by the Dharma and are liberated from the pain of seeking revenge. Fourthly, the night-forks and evil spirits are inviolable, and the poisonous snakes and tigers and wolves are harmless. Fifthly, I am comforted by my heart; I have no danger in the day, no bad dreams in the night, my face is radiant, my body is full of strength, and what I do is auspicious. Sixth, to the heart of the Dharma, although there is no desire, naturally, food and clothing, family harmony, happiness and long life. VII. What he says and does is pleasing to the heavens and the earth. Wherever he goes, he is always loved and honored by many people. The foolish will become wise, the sick will become healthy, and the needy will become prosperous. Those who do not want to be women will be revealed as men on the day of thanksgiving. Nine: Courage to leave the evil paths and be born in the good paths. He has a decent appearance, and is endowed with transcendent talent and great fortune. Ten: Planting good roots for all sentient beings. With the hearts of all sentient beings, he becomes a field of great blessings and obtains immeasurable fruits of victory. Wherever they are born, they will always be able to see the Buddha and hear the Dharma. Until the Three Wisdoms are enlightened, and the Six Passages are realized, one can quickly attain Buddhahood. Scripture Copying Liturgy 1. Prepare the pen, ink, paper and ink dish. Use paperweights to hold down the paper when placing it to avoid unevenness. 2. Clean your hands and bathe them in a perfume containing botanical fragrances. 3. Burning incense (pagoda incense or thread incense) to convey sincerity and make offerings to the Three Jewels of the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha through the swirling smoke. 4. Sit upright in front of your body, preferably in meditation, turn off your cell phone, burn incense as a timer, and eliminate external interference. 5. Put your hands together and say, "Namo Sakyamuni Buddha". 6. Recite the "Opening Verses" once: "The Supreme Profound and Subtle Dharma is difficult to encounter in a thousand thousand lifetimes. Now that I have seen and heard it, I wish to understand the true meaning of the Buddha." Then meditate and copy the sutra. 7. When copying, do so with the utmost devotion and respect, and preferably read and recite it once. 8. When you have finished copying the sutra, put your hands together and recite the "Return Verses": "May all the troubles of the three obstacles be eliminated, and may I attain true wisdom. May all sins and obstacles be eliminated, and may you always practice the Bodhisattva's path." Then, you can make a prayer for one of your wishes. 9. You may also recite the "Prayer for Enrichment" written by Venerable Master Zong Shun: "My disciple, so-and-so, with a heart of incense and sincerity, I pray to the Buddhas not to violate this wish. I pray to the Buddhas not to violate my wishes, to be my yihu, to save me from my difficulties, to eliminate all my diseases, and to free me from my poisons. To eliminate my troubles, to remove my darkness, to give me peace and happiness, and to achieve Nirvana. Be happy with what you see and hear, and make a favorable connection together, and develop a great mind to reach the other shore together. I pray that all sentient beings will be liberated from the Dharma and all others will be blessed with the joy of the Dharma. 10. When the scripture paper is dry, roll it up and store it in a tube and offer it to the Buddha Hall or a clean place. 11. Clean the pen and the ink dish and put them back where they belong. The merit of copying the Scriptures is complete. The Taboo of Copying Scriptures - Don't use messy handwriting - Sutra writing is copying down the lofty scriptures word by word, so the font must be neatly written to show sincerity, preferably in block letters. - Avoid misspellings When writing scriptures, one must be attentive and accurate, and must not make mistakes in writing, or make errors or omissions, or make repetitions. - avoid mental distraction When copying the scriptures, we must be free from distractions, and this is the most important goal of scripture writing.
